The importance of a good BEMS and building controls solution has never been more apparent than during and after lockdown. 
Monitoring the energy consumed by organisations has exposed countless examples of building baseloads remaining unchanged during periods of lockdown when the buildings were unoccupied. 
Furthermore, as buildings come ‘back online’ and follow ventilation guidance it is even more important to make sure that building controls are managed appropriately so that baseloads don’t increase unnecessarily.
