ecoDriver is delighted to announce a new partnership with Birmingham Women’s and Children’s NHS Foundation Trust to provide an advanced energy management system and invoice validation service across its estate.
The partnership will enable the Trust to gain increased control of its energy consumption, reduce waste, and achieve significant cost and emission savings.
ecoDriver will provide a comprehensive solution that includes:
- Granular Energy Insights: The ecoDriver platform will collect and analyse energy consumption data from the Trust’s existing gas, electricity, and water meters. This will provide actionable insights to identify and eliminate energy waste and improve efficiency.
- Complete Financial Confidence: ecoDriver’s invoice validation service will provide the Trust with accurate energy bills. Any discrepancies will be logged and managed by ecoDriver’s team, ensuring the Trust only pays for what it has used.
- Seamless Integration: We will import the Trust’s historical energy consumption data into the platform, enabling immediate analysis and accurate year-on-year comparisons from day one. For meters not yet equipped with automatic meter reading (AMR) technology, Trust staff will be able to easily input manual readings into the system.
This partnership represents a long-term commitment to sustainability. The Trust plans to introduce further sub-metering across its estate, which will be integrated into the ecoDriver platform to provide even greater data granularity and analysis. Incorporating the validated energy consumption data into the ecoDriver dashboard was a bespoke request from the Trust, which ecoDriver will incorporate into the software and will be made available to all ecoDriver users, enhancing the platform’s capabilities for everyone.
Matthew Boyham, Sales Manager at ecoDriver said, “We are incredibly proud to partner with Birmingham Women’s and Children’s NHS Foundation Trust. Our discussions with the Trust highlighted several key areas where we can deliver tangible results, and we are excited to help them meet their ambitious efficiency and sustainability goals. The valuable feedback and forward-looking ideas from their team will also play a crucial role in shaping the future development of our software.”
The Trust will reach net zero by 2040 for the emissions it controls directly, with an ambition to reach an 80 per cent reduction by 2028 to 2032.
For the emissions the Trust can influence it will reach net zero by 2045, with an ambition to reach an 80 per cent reduction by 2036 to 2039.
ecoDriver looks forward to supporting the Trust in its journey towards a more sustainable and cost-effective estate and will be sharing updates on our progress in the coming months.
