ecoDriver, a leading energy management and sustainability solutions provider, is delighted to announce a new partnership with North East Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust (NEAS) to implement comprehensive energy monitoring, reduction strategies, and bill validation services.
This collaboration will initially focus on four key NEAS sites, with the immediate goal of establishing high-quality energy data collection, ensuring accurate billing practices, and delivering significant energy savings to support the Trust’s cost efficiency and ambitious sustainability objectives.
ecoDriver’s technology will utilise a combination of NEAS’s existing metering infrastructure and newly installed smart meters to capture granular energy data from 22 key points across the selected sites. This includes detailed monitoring of incoming gas and electricity, on-site solar generation, and the performance of air source heat pumps. The data will be visualised and analysed within the intuitive ecoDriver software platform, enabling NEAS to pinpoint and eliminate energy waste, directly contributing to operational savings and their journey towards net zero emissions.
The flexibility of the ecoDriver platform offers significant benefits for NEAS, including streamlined reporting for Estates Returns Information Collection (ERIC) submissions. Furthermore, the data-driven insights provided will empower NEAS to strategically target future sustainability initiatives and objectively measure the success of both ongoing and completed energy efficiency projects. The availability of ecoDriver’s robust API was a crucial factor for the NEAS IT team, facilitating seamless integration of energy data into their internal reporting systems.
In addition to advanced energy monitoring, NEAS will benefit from ecoDriver’s invoice validation and query resolution service. This will significantly reduce administrative burden by ensuring the accuracy of energy bills before payment and proactively managing any discrepancies through to resolution on NEAS’s behalf.
